Library Volunteer Orientation Set August 17

The City of Corona will hold a volunteer orientation Monday, August 17, at 6:30 p.m. in the Frances Aldama Martinez Room at Corona Public Library, 650 S. Main Street. The session is for people age 12 and older who want to learn about volunteer opportunities with the library, parks and recreation services. Prospective long-term volunteers must complete a background check, which can take four to six weeks. The city does not accept court-referred or school-mandated volunteer hours for these opportunities.
