Garden Workshop Covers Farm To Table

Pumpkin Park will host the all-ages Farm to Table 101 workshop Saturday, August 8, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at 405 Drake Street. Garden Farms instructors will cover techniques for improving garden growth and producing more productive harvests while introducing farm-to-table concepts. Registration is free, but a $5 supply fee is due at the start of the workshop. Green Valley South residents interested in gardening should register in advance because participation is organized through the city's recreation system.
