MassDOT Seeks Input On Nash Road Design

MassDOT will hold a virtual design public hearing Tuesday, August 25, at 6:00 PM on proposed intersection improvements at Mount Pleasant Street and Nash Road in New Bedford. The proposal includes new traffic and pedestrian signals, ADA-compliant sidewalks and ramps, buffered bicycle lanes, a shared-use path, new pavement, street lighting and drainage upgrades. The hearing gives residents an opportunity to review the design and submit comments. MassDOT says views and comments received in response will be reviewed and considered as the project moves forward.
