I-195 Work Continues Through August 9

MassDOT's New Bedford I-195 and Route 18 interchange rehabilitation work is scheduled to continue during the week of August 3 through Sunday, August 9. Residents and drivers should expect utility work on Purchase Street, Belleville Avenue, Kenyon Street, Cedar Grove Street, County Street, North Front Street and Route 18, along with temporary lane closures and construction activity. Cedar Grove Street remains closed between County Street and Purchase Street at all hours until August 2026. County Street closures may occur during evening and overnight periods. Several I-195 ramps remain closed, so drivers should follow posted detours.
