Bear Creek Nature Center Turns 50

Bear Creek Nature Center will celebrate its 50th anniversary Saturday, August 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 245 Bear Creek Road in Colorado Springs. The free public event includes snacks, cake, pollinator walks, an art sale, and activities about the nature center's history. Living history walks require preregistration and have limited capacity. Residents who want to participate in those walks should register ahead of time, while the broader anniversary celebration remains open to the public.
