Jefferson Boulevard Ramp Closure Continues

As of August 3, the on-ramp from Jefferson Boulevard to I-95 South in Warwick remains closed for bridge construction through summer 2027. Drivers heading south on Jefferson Boulevard should use the on-ramp to the Airport Connector outbound, about half a mile south of the Jefferson Boulevard, Kilvert Street, and Coronado Road intersection. RIDOT also reports active lane shifts and work zones at the Route 37 overpass and on I-295, so drivers should follow posted signs and allow extra travel time.
