Early voting for Cranston residents begins Thursday, August 20, for the September 9, 2026 Rhode Island statewide primary. Voting is available weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Tuesday, September 8, with an additional Saturday session on September 5 during the same hours. The early-voting location is the Peter T. Pastore, Jr. Youth Center at 155 Gansett Ave. in Cranston. The city says voters who have not applied for a mail ballot are eligible, and photo identification is required.
