Cranston Voter Registration Deadline Arrives

Monday, August 10, is the deadline for Cranston residents to register to vote or update their name, address, or party affiliation for the September 9, 2026 Rhode Island statewide primary. New registrations and changes may be submitted through the state's online voting portal until the deadline. Cranston also designated the official drop box at the side entrance of City Hall, 869 Park Ave., to accept registrations and changes on August 10. Residents who are already registered but want to change or leave a party must complete that change by the same date.
