Wellington Bridge Work Changes I-95

RIDOT's Wellington Avenue Bridge replacement operation is scheduled to begin in the August 25 through September 18 work window at the Cranston-Providence line near Route 10 and I-95 Exit 33. The project will close Wellington Avenue at the bridge and use a signed local detour. I-95 will also have lane splits and weekend lane closures during the operation. RIDOT advises travelers to expect delays and use Route 10 or I-295 as alternate routes when closures are active.
