School Care Programs Begin August 26

Rutland's before- and after-school care programs begin Wednesday, August 26, the first day of the 2026-2027 school year. Safe Place at Naquag Elementary serves students in grades K-2, while Club House at Glenwood Elementary serves grades 3-5. Before-school care opens at 7:30 AM, and after-school care runs until 5:30 PM on school days. Families must submit the required enrollment documents and a $25 non-refundable cash registration fee to the Recreation Department at Community Hall, 250 Main Street. Space is limited, and waiting lists apply when programs reach capacity.
