APEC Opens Fall Homeschool Registration

Registration for Alley Pond Environmental Center's fall homeschool programs opens Monday, August 17, at 10 a.m. The programs are held at 229-10 Northern Boulevard in Douglaston and are offered for children ages 5 to 6, 7 to 8, and 9 to 11 in separate drop-off groups. Planned lessons cover seasonal nature, conservation, environmental challenges, parks, trails, plants, and animals, with outdoor exploration and animal time. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so families should be ready to register when enrollment opens.
