Forsyth Schools Start August 6

Forsyth County Schools will begin the 2026-27 school year on Thursday, August 6. Families should confirm their campus's bell schedule, transportation information, and before- or after-school arrangements before classes begin, since times and services can vary by school. New Hope Elementary and Poole's Mill Elementary, both in the Cumming area, also list August 6 as their first day. Poole's Mill lists school hours of 7:40 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., while families at other campuses should follow their school's posted schedule.
