Sunday Ranger Walk Highlights Refuge Nature

On Sunday, August 9, the free Ranger's Choice guided walk returns to the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center at 10:30 a.m. The one-hour National Park Service program focuses on the natural features and history of Jamaica Bay. It is one of the weekly Sunday walks scheduled through August 30, giving residents another chance to explore the refuge on a ranger-led route. The visitor center is reached from Cross Bay Boulevard and is accessible from the Broad Channel A train station.
