Ranger's Choice Walk Explores Jamaica Bay

On Sunday, August 2, the National Park Service will offer a free Ranger's Choice guided walk at 10:30 a.m. from the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center on Cross Bay Boulevard. The one-hour program highlights the nature and history of Jamaica Bay and gives Broad Channel residents and visitors a scheduled way to explore the refuge with a ranger. The program is part of a weekly series that runs through August 30. The visitor center is accessible from the Broad Channel A train station.
