St. Clair Shores' Long Monday drop-off is set for Monday, August 10, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Department of Public Works, 19700 Pleasant Drive. Residents may bring nonhazardous material that cannot go at the curb, with garden pavers listed as an example. Household hazardous waste is not accepted during Long Monday. For disposal questions outside the city's scheduled hazardous-waste days, Public Works directs residents to Macomb County Hazardous Waste at 586-469-5236.
