Paper And Cardboard Pickup August 26

Hamburg's monthly paper and cardboard recycling pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26. Newspapers, magazines, and junk mail should be bound in one-foot stacks or placed in reusable containers weighing no more than 75 pounds. Corrugated cardboard must be flattened and cross-tied, while shredded paper should go in a reusable, easy-to-empty container. Recycling should be placed curbside the night before or by 5:00 a.m. on pickup day. The borough advises residents to keep all recycling free of food and other waste.
