Chester Car Seat Checks Set August 4

Families can have child safety seats inspected Tuesday, August 4, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Chester First Aid Squad, 100 North Road in Chester. The inspection station is listed through Northern New Jersey Safe Kids and Safe Communities and serves Morris County. Residents who need information before arriving can call 908-879-5560. The service is scheduled during the first Tuesday inspection window and gives caregivers an opportunity to check that seats are installed correctly before late-summer travel and the start of the school year.
