Appomattox County Holds Primary Election

Appomattox County's dual primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4. Voters can choose which primary they wish to vote in. The Republican ballot includes U.S. Senate and U.S. House races, while the Democratic ballot includes a U.S. House race. Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at local polling places. The registrar's office is not an Election Day polling location. Voters who need help finding their assigned site can call the elections office at 434-352-5302.
