Declaration Celebration Returns To Central Library

Dallas Public Library held a Declaration Celebration on Thursday, July 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at O'Hara Hall on the seventh floor of the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, 1515 Young Street. The program marked the return of the Dunlap Broadside of the Declaration of Independence to its permanent library home after its FIFA Fan Festival display. The evening included a public reading of the Declaration, a keynote address by Dr. Pearl Ponce, and an advance look at the Revolution on Paper exhibit.
