Medicare Counseling Available July 23

Los Angeles County residents age 65 and older, or those eligible for Medicare, can schedule free one-on-one counseling Thursday, July 23, from 9 a.m. to noon through Covina's HICAP program. Trained volunteer counselors can explain Medicare rights and benefits, help residents understand coverage, and discuss how to appeal denials. Appointments are required, and the service is limited to Los Angeles County residents. To schedule a counseling appointment, call the Covina Senior and Community Center at 626-384-5380.
