City Budget Vote Advances July Process

Olathe's 2026 budget schedule lists a 7 p.m. vote on Wednesday, July 15, on the city's intent to exceed the revenue neutral rate. The action is part of the formal process for preparing the 2026 budget. Later scheduled workshops address water, sewer, stormwater, solid waste, utilities, recreation, parks sales tax, street maintenance sales tax and fees. Residents following city finances can use the July 15 vote as the next dated step in the budget process and review the city's budget materials for additional information.
