Wildflower Walks Offer Two July 18 Times

The City of Colorado Springs is offering two educational wildflower walks on Pikes Peak Saturday, July 18, at Devils Playground, about 16 miles up the highway. Ranger-led walks are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Each walk is expected to last 45 minutes to one hour. Participants should arrive at the Pikes Peak Gateway by 9 a.m. for the morning walk or 1 p.m. for the afternoon walk, and should bring walking shoes, water, and sunscreen. Timed-entry reservations and highway admission tickets are required.
