Sumner Council Vacancy Applications Due

Applications for the Sumner City Council vacancy are due by 5 p.m. Thursday, July 30. Applicants must have continuously lived within Sumner city limits for at least one year before appointment and must be registered voters in the city. Completed applications and supplemental materials must be received by the City Clerk by the deadline, and late submissions will not be accepted. The city plans candidate interviews on August 10, nominations and appointment voting on August 17, and a tentative swearing-in date of August 24.
