Sumner Hosts Property Tax Seminar

Pierce County will hold a free property tax exemption seminar Monday, July 20, at 3 p.m. at the Sumner Senior Center, 15506 62nd St. Ct. E. County assessor staff will explain the exemption and answer questions. Residents may qualify if they are over 61 or fully disabled with an 80 percent VA disability rating and have gross household income of $64,000 or less annually. Registration is encouraged, and information about county energy assistance, home repair, aging and disability resources, and veterans programs will also be available.
