SeaTac Recycling Event Accepts Household Items

SeaTac's Summer Recycling Event is scheduled for Sunday, July 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the recycling event site near 2001 South 136th Street. Entrance is off Des Moines Memorial Drive at South 138th Street, heading east toward the BMX track. Accepted materials include batteries, oil and filters, antifreeze, propane tanks, tires, electronics, flattened cardboard, appliances, scrap metal, plastic film, CFL bulbs, and confidential documents for shredding. Limits apply to some materials, no vehicles may enter after 3:00 p.m., and attendees should not line up before 8:30 a.m.
