Durham Hosts Algal Floway Session

City staff will hold a virtual public information session about the proposed Algal Floway Project at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16. The project is being evaluated as a possible way to reduce nutrient pollution in Falls Lake, and staff are expected to discuss a shortlist of potential locations and answer questions. Residents and local stakeholders can use the session to learn about the current evaluation and provide feedback while the site review remains underway. The meeting will be held through Zoom.
