Nightly SR-34 Closures Continue Through July 31

A scheduled nighttime closure on State Route 34 in Oxnard will remain in effect each night through Friday, July 31, during the Rice Avenue and Fifth Street grade-separation work. Both directions of SR-34 are scheduled to close from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. while crews place precast concrete bridge girders. Drivers traveling through the corridor should use the posted detours and allow extra time. The City says roadway conditions outside the nightly closure are otherwise normal, but conditions can change because of incidents or operational issues.
