Summer Beach Bus Serves Newbury Park

On Thursday, July 23, the City of Thousand Oaks Summer Beach Bus will operate from the Borchard Community Center parking lot in Newbury Park to Zuma Beach. The seasonal service runs Monday through Saturday through August 8, except July 4, with two daily round trips. The fare is $4 round trip in cash, or $1 for seniors age 65 and older and people with disabilities. Students from kindergarten through college ride free through a countywide grant. Seating is limited and boarding is first come, first served, so riders are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
