APEC Parent Child Nature Classes Need Registration

Families with children ages 3 and 4 must register by Thursday, July 30, at 9:00 a.m. for Alley Pond Environmental Center's August Lil' Hoppers program. Classes are scheduled for August 2, 9, and 16 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at 229-10 Northern Boulevard in Douglaston. Each session includes a nature-inspired craft, guided walk, story time, and a live animal encounter. The program costs $75 per parent-child pair, is limited to eight participants, and does not allow siblings except babies in carriers or car seats.
