Free Grow In Nature Sessions Begin

Families in Canals can register children ages 6 to 11 for Grow in Nature, a free Rocky View Schools summer program at Chinook Winds Regional Park in Airdrie. The outdoor, nature-based sessions run Thursdays from July 16 through August 13, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and attendance is limited to 24 participants. The program uses guided outdoor activities, mindful movement and reflection to support social and emotional skills. Registration is required through SchoolEngage, and the program is open to families in Rocky View Schools communities whether or not children attend those schools.
