Smith Street Closure Remains In Place

As of July 15, Smith Street between Sycamore Street and S 1st Street remains closed through July 21, weather permitting, for a Renew project involving a new sewer force main and gravity sewer lines. Drivers should use alternate routes, follow posted signs and barricades, and watch for construction equipment entering and leaving the work area. The city says property owners in the affected area have been notified. The closure will continue to affect local travel during the remainder of the work period.
