Bay Cleanup at First Landing

First Landing State Park is hosting a shoreline cleanup on May 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Main Visitor Center and The Narrows at 64th Street. This cleanup is part of the annual effort to protect Chesapeake Bay waters and shorelines. For North Shore residents who treasure nearby beaches, marshes and wildlife habitat, it is a meaningful reminder that local stewardship starts close to home. Even if you are not volunteering, expect to see extra conservation activity around the park that morning.
