Drainage Project Moves Ahead

A closely watched flood protection project in the North Shore area is moving into its next stage heading into May. The city says final construction plans for North Shore Drive Street Drainage Improvements have been approved, and a contractor has been selected. The work covers drainage improvements at four side streets in the Eastern Shore Drive area and includes curb and gutter work, utility adjustments, and storm piping and inlets.
