Extreme Heat Watch Runs Through July 16

The National Weather Service has an Extreme Heat Watch in effect for the Los Angeles County San Gabriel Valley, including Hacienda Heights, from Tuesday, July 14, through Thursday, July 16, at 8:00 p.m. Forecast temperatures may reach 95 to 112 degrees away from the coast. Residents are advised to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned spaces when possible, avoid extended sun exposure, check on relatives and neighbors, and never leave children or pets in unattended vehicles.
