Free Self Defense Class Offers July Training

Blue Valley Recreation will offer a free TAKE Self-Defense session from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 25, at Overland Trail Middle School, 6201 W. 133rd St. in Leawood. The program teaches basic self-protection techniques and is open to participants older than 12 on the activity date. Preregistration is required. Although the class is outside Overland Park, it is offered through the recreation provider serving the Blue Valley community, giving local residents an accessible option for safety training.
