Intersection Filing Moves Forward

As May begins, Queen Creek residents have a major transportation update to watch. The Town has filed its application with the Arizona Corporation Commission for improvements at the Sossaman and Germann intersection. The project plan includes extending Germann to Rittenhouse, adding a signal, widening Germann and Sossaman, and creating an at-grade railroad crossing with safety features. The Town says the design is already at the 90 percent stage, and residents will be able to weigh in once an ACC docket is opened.
